Ginger and Clove Wellness Drink Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups water
1-inch fresh ginger root, sliced or grated
4–5 whole cloves
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.
Add the ginger and cloves.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain into a cup.
Add honey and lemon juice if desired.
Drink warm, preferably in the morning or before bed.
Optional Variation
You can also add:
1 small cinnamon stick for extra flavor
A pinch of turmeric for added warmth
