Ginger Water Recipe
A simple homemade ginger water drink often used as a refreshing wellness drink:
Ingredients
1 medium fresh ginger root (about 5–7 cm / 2–3 inches)
1 liter (4 cups) water
1 lemon (optional)
1–2 teaspoons honey (optional)
Instructions
Wash and peel the ginger.
Slice it thinly or grate it.
Bring 1 liter of water to a boil.
Add the ginger to the boiling water.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Strain the water into a jug or cups.
Add fresh lemon juice and honey if desired.
Serve warm or chilled.
