Ingredients
6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom soup)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a glass casserole dish with butter or cooking spray.
In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic, onion, melted butter, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth and creamy.
Arrange the sliced potatoes evenly in the casserole dish.
Pour the creamy mixture over the potatoes, making sure they are well coated.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for another 20–25 minutes, until potatoes are tender and the top is golden and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
