4-Ingredient Amish Sunday Dinner Bake
Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts (or pork chops)
4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Optional Sweet Buttery Glaze
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a baking dish and layer the thinly sliced potatoes on the bottom.
Place the chicken breasts (or pork chops) on top of the potatoes.
Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over everything.
Spread the cream of mushroom soup over the top.
If using the glaze, mix melted butter with honey (or brown sugar) and drizzle over the casserole.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Serve
Perfect with green beans, biscuits, or a simple side salad for a cozy Sunday family dinner.
