🥩 3-Ingredient Sealed Foil Butter Garlic Chicken (or Pork)
Ingredients
4–6 chicken thighs (or pork chops)
3 tbsp butter (cut into small pieces)
3–4 cloves garlic (minced or sliced)
(Optional but not counted in the 3: salt & pepper if you allow basics)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
Take a large sheet of aluminum foil and place the meat in the center.
Scatter garlic evenly over the meat.
Dot with butter pieces all over the top.
Seal the foil tightly into a packet (important—no steam should escape).
Place on a baking tray and bake for:
Chicken thighs: 35–45 minutes
Pork chops: 40–55 minutes (depending on thickness)
Open carefully (hot steam!) and let it rest 5 minutes before serving.
What makes it work
The sealed foil traps steam and butter, so the meat essentially braises in its own juices, which is why it comes out soft and very tender.
