Grandma’s Cozy March Casserole Recipe
A simple, comforting family-style casserole that’s warm, creamy, and perfect for chilly spring evenings.
Ingredients
4 cups cooked chicken, shredded (or turkey)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 sleeve buttery crackers (like Ritz), crushed
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix together:
shredded chicken
cream of chicken soup
sour cream
garlic powder
onion powder
half of the cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
Spread the mixture evenly into a greased baking dish.
In a separate bowl, combine crushed crackers with melted butter.
Sprinkle the buttery cracker topping over the casserole.
Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and golden on top.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
