Slow Cooker Sausage and Potatoes
A simple, comforting recipe that makes sausages incredibly tender and flavorful!
Ingredients
6–8 smoked sausages (or Italian sausages)
4 medium potatoes, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Lightly grease your slow cooker with olive oil.
Layer the sliced potatoes, onions, bell pepper, and garlic in the bottom.
Place the sausages on top of the vegetables.
In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, paprika, black pepper, and thyme.
Pour the mixture evenly over everything.
Cover and cook:
LOW for 6–7 hours
or HIGH for 3–4 hours
Once done, gently stir, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
Tip
You can also add carrots or green beans for extra flavor and a full one-pot meal.
