Slow Cooker Onion Soup Potatoes 🥔
A simple, creamy, comforting side dish made with sliced potatoes, onion soup mix, and just a couple of pantry staples.
Ingredients
6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 packet onion soup mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra richness)
2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Lightly grease your slow cooker.
Layer the sliced potatoes evenly in the slow cooker.
In a bowl, mix together:
onion soup mix
cream of mushroom soup
sour cream
Spread the mixture evenly over the potatoes.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top if using.
Dot with small pieces of butter.
Cover and cook:
Low: 5–6 hours
High: 3–4 hours
Once potatoes are tender, garnish with parsley and serve warm.
