Ingredients (5 total):
500 g ground beef
1 can (about 400 g) condensed tomato soup
1 cup uncooked rice
1 cup water or beef broth
1 small onion, chopped
Instructions:
Brown the beef (optional but better flavor):
In a pan, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
Layer in slow cooker:
Add the cooked beef and onion to the slow cooker. Stir in the uncooked rice.
Add liquids:
Pour the tomato soup over the mixture, then add water or broth. Stir gently to combine.
Cook:
Low: 6–7 hours
High: 3–4 hours
Check & serve:
Once the rice is tender and everything is thick and hearty, give it a final stir and serve hot.
