🥔 Creamy Slow Cooker Baby Potatoes
🧾 Ingredients (4–6 servings)
1 kg baby potatoes (washed, halved if large)
1 can (400 ml) evaporated milk
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
👉 Optional extras: grated cheese, chopped parsley, paprika, or onion powder
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Prep the potatoes
Wash well. If some are large, cut them in halves so they cook evenly.
Layer in slow cooker
Add potatoes to the slow cooker. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic.
Add liquids & butter
Pour the evaporated milk over the potatoes. Add butter on top.
Cook
Low: 6–7 hours
High: 3–4 hours
Cook until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
Finish & serve
Stir gently. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Optional: sprinkle cheese and let it melt before serving.

For a thicker sauce, mash a few potatoes into the liquid near the end.
Add shredded cheese (cheddar works great) for extra richness.
Throw in cooked bacon bits or herbs for more flavor.
