Ingredients
1.5–2 kg (3–4 lb) beef chuck roast
1 packet onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup beef broth
Instructions
Place the chuck roast in a slow cooker or Dutch oven.
In a bowl, mix the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth.
Pour the mixture over the roast.
Cook:
Slow cooker: Low for 8–9 hours or High for 5–6 hours
Oven: Cover and bake at 160°C (325°F) for about 3.5–4 hours
When the meat easily pulls apart with a fork, it’s ready.
