Slow Cooker Burgundy Beef
A rich, cozy slow-cooker dinner with tender beef and deep burgundy wine flavor.
Ingredients
2 lbs (900 g) beef stew meat
1 cup burgundy wine (or any dry red wine)
1 packet onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
Optional Extras
3–4 carrots, chopped
3 potatoes, cubed
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Place the beef stew meat into the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the beef.
Add the cream of mushroom soup and sliced mushrooms.
Pour the burgundy wine over everything and stir gently.
Cover and cook:
Low: 7–8 hours
High: 4–5 hours
Stir before serving.
