Ingredients
1 bag (30 oz / 850 g) frozen hash browns, thawed
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup melted butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional topping:
Crushed cornflakes or buttery crackers
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix:
hash browns
cheese
soup
sour cream
butter
onion
salt & pepper
Spread into a greased baking dish.
Add crushed cornflakes or crackers on top if using.
Bake 45–55 minutes until hot, bubbly, and golden.
