Juicy, tender sirloin cubes coated in a sweet, garlicky glaze β baked in the oven and finished sticky and caramelized. Perfect for dinner, bowls, or appetizers!
π Ingredients
1Β½ lbs (700g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-size cubes
3 tbsp honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp water
Β½ tsp black pepper
Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Garnish: chopped parsley or sesame seeds
π₯ Instructions
1οΈβ£ Preheat
Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2οΈβ£ Season the Steak
Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels.
Toss with olive oil and black pepper.
3οΈβ£ Make the Sticky Sauce
In a small bowl, mix:
Honey
Minced garlic
Soy sauce
Melted butter
In another tiny bowl, mix cornstarch + water to make a slurry.
Stir slurry into the sauce (this helps thicken it).
4οΈβ£ Bake
Spread steak bites in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Bake for 8β10 minutes (depending on how done you like it).
5οΈβ£ Glaze & Broil
Brush or toss the steak with the honey garlic sauce.
Return to oven and broil for 2β3 minutes until the glaze bubbles and caramelizes.
