🥩 4-Ingredient Juicy Roast (Fork-Tender)
This super simple roast uses just four ingredients but comes out so tender and flavorful that it literally falls apart with a fork. Perfect for a slow cooker day when you want the house smelling amazing.
🛒 Ingredients
1.5–2 kg (3–4 lb) beef chuck roast
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup beef broth
👩🍳 Instructions
Prepare the slow cooker
Place the chuck roast in the bottom of your slow cooker.
Add the flavor
Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the roast.
Add the sauce
Spread the cream of mushroom soup on top and pour the beef broth around the meat.
Cook low and slow
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the meat is very tender.
Shred and serve
Use two forks to pull the roast apart. Stir it into the gravy before serving.
