Chocolate Lava Cake (Molten Chocolate Cake)

115 g (ยฝ cup) unsalted butter
170 g (6 oz) dark chocolate (chopped)
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
60 g (ยผ cup) sugar
30 g (ยผ cup) flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Butter + cocoa powder (for greasing ramekins)
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
Preheat oven to 220ยฐC (425ยฐF).
Grease 4 ramekins with butter and dust lightly with cocoa powder.
In a bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together (microwave or over a double boiler). Stir until smooth.
In another bowl, whisk eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until thick and pale.
Mix the melted chocolate into the egg mixture.
Add flour, vanilla, and salt and gently mix until smooth.
Divide batter into ramekins.
Bake 10โ12 minutes โ the edges should be firm but the center soft.
Let sit 1 minute, then carefully invert onto plates.

Dust with powdered sugar
Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream
Top with berries or caramel sauce
