🍖 Slow Cooker Barbecued Beef Ribs
🛒 Ingredients:
1.5–2 kg beef ribs
1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite)
1/2 cup beef broth (or water)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
Optional: 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (for extra depth)
👩🍳 Instructions:
Prep the ribs
Pat ribs dry with paper towels.
Remove the thin membrane from the back (this makes them more tender).
Season
Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and brown sugar.
Rub this mixture all over the ribs.
Layer in slow cooker
Cut ribs into sections if needed to fit.
Place them inside the slow cooker.
Add sauce
Pour barbecue sauce, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce over the ribs.
Cook
On LOW for 7–8 hours
Or on HIGH for 4–5 hours
(They should be very tender and almost falling off the bone.)
Optional (for that sticky finish 🔥)
Transfer ribs to a baking tray.
Brush with extra BBQ sauce.
Broil in the oven for 3–5 minutes until caramelized.
😋 Tips:
Serve with fries, rice, or fresh salad.
Add a little chili powder if you like heat.
The longer it cooks on low, the better the flavor!
