Ingredients
1 cup white rice (washed)
4 cups milk (or 2 cups milk + 2 cups water)
1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp butter (optional, for richness)
Optional toppings: raisins, nuts, honey
Instructions
Rinse the rice under water until it runs mostly clear.
Add rice, milk, sugar, salt, and cinnamon into the slow cooker.
Stir everything well.
Cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, stirring once or twice if you can.
When the rice is soft and the mixture is creamy, stir in vanilla and butter.
Let it sit for 5–10 minutes to thicken.
Serve
Warm in a bowl, topped with cinnamon, honey, or raisins.
