🥩 Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Asparagus Bake
🧾 Ingredients
500–700g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
🧄 Garlic Herb Butter Sauce
4 tbsp butter, melted
3–4 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice (optional, but great for freshness)
½ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
🔪 Instructions
Preheat oven
Set your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Prepare the pan
Place steak cubes on one side of a baking sheet and asparagus on the other.
Season
Sprinkle salt and pepper over everything.
Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, and spices.
Pour & coat
Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the steak and asparagus.
Bake
Bake for 10–15 minutes depending on how you like your steak:
10–12 min = medium
12–15 min = well done
Optional (for extra flavor)
Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for a slightly crispy finish.
🍽️ Tips
Don’t overcrowd the pan—use two trays if needed.
You can swap asparagus with green beans or broccoli.
Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or keep it low-carb as is.
