🌿 Nettle (Stinging Nettle) Soup Recipe

Stinging Nettle is packed with iron, vitamins A & C, and is used in traditional cooking and herbal remedies.
🛒 Ingredients:
2 cups fresh nettle leaves (washed, gloves recommended!)
1 small onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 potato (peeled & diced)
3 cups vegetable or chicken broth
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: a splash of cream or yogurt
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Prepare the nettles:
Wear gloves while handling raw nettles (they sting!). Once cooked, they’re completely safe.
Sauté base:
Heat olive oil in a pot, add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
Add potato & broth:
Toss in diced potato and pour in broth. Simmer for 10–15 minutes until potato is tender.
Add nettles:
Stir in nettle leaves and cook for 3–5 minutes (they wilt quickly).
Blend:
Blend the soup until smooth (optional but recommended).
Season & serve:
Add salt, pepper, and a bit of cream if you like.
