π Soft & Fluffy Dinner Rolls
π§Ύ Ingredients:
3 Β½ cups all-purpose flour
2 ΒΌ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk (not hot)
ΒΌ cup sugar
ΒΌ cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 egg
1 tsp salt
π©βπ³ Instructions:
Activate the yeast
In a bowl, mix warm milk + sugar + yeast. Let it sit 5β10 minutes until foamy.
Make the dough
Add melted butter, egg, and salt. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
Knead
Knead for about 8β10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
First rise
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1β1.5 hours (until doubled).
Shape rolls
Divide into 12β15 balls and place in a greased baking dish.
Second rise
Cover and let rise again for 30β45 minutes.
Bake
Bake at 180Β°C (350Β°F) for 15β20 minutes until golden brown.
Optional (but amazing!)
Brush with melted butter right after baking.
