🥧 Sweet Potato Pie
🛒 Ingredients:
2 cups mashed sweet potatoes (about 2–3 medium sweet potatoes)
1 cup sugar
½ cup melted butter
2 eggs
½ cup milk (or evaporated milk for richer flavor)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp ground ginger (optional)
¼ tsp salt
1 unbaked pie crust
👨🍳 Instructions:
Prepare the sweet potatoes
Peel, chop, and boil sweet potatoes until soft (about 15–20 minutes).
Drain and mash until smooth.
Make the filling
In a bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes with melted butter.
Add sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Stir in cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the pie
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 50–60 minutes.
The center should be set but slightly soft.
Cool & serve
Let it cool completely before slicing.
Optional: top with whipped cream 😋

Roast the sweet potatoes instead of boiling for deeper flavor.
Add a little orange zest for a fresh twist.
