🦐 Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta
🧾 Ingredients
250–300g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
200g spaghetti or fettuccine
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella (for that melty top)
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley
Optional: pinch of chili flakes
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
👨🍳 Instructions
Cook the pasta
Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente.
Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Cook the shrimp
Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan.
Add shrimp, season with salt & pepper.
Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
Make the sauce
In the same pan, add remaining butter and garlic.
Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently.
Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
Combine everything
Add pasta and shrimp back into the pan.
Toss well, adding a splash of pasta water if needed.
Make it extra cheesy (like the picture)
Sprinkle mozzarella on top.
Cover the pan or place under a lid until melted.
Finish
Sprinkle parsley and chili flakes (optional).
Serve hot.
🔥 Tips
Don’t overcook shrimp—they get rubbery fast.
Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
Add mushrooms or spinach if you want extra veggies.
