Cheesy Garlic Chicken Bake
Ingredients (serves 4-6):
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream or cream of chicken soup
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp butter or olive oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Sear the chicken: In a skillet, heat butter or olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken 2-3 minutes per side until lightly golden (they don’t need to be fully cooked).
Mix the sauce: In a bowl, combine heavy cream (or cream of chicken soup), minced garlic, and half of the cheeses.
Bake: Place the chicken in a baking dish. Pour the sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Cook: Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temp 165°F / 74°C) and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Garnish & serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with rice, pasta, or a side of vegetables.
