Zero Point Cucumber “Bang” snack at home:
Ingredients:
2 large cucumbers
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
1 tsp lime or lemon juice
Optional: fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Prep the cucumbers
Wash and slice the cucumbers into sticks or rounds, depending on your preference.
If the cucumbers are very watery, you can lightly salt them and let them sit for 10 minutes, then drain excess liquid.
Mix the spices
In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, black pepper, and salt.
Toss the cucumbers
Place the cucumber slices in a large bowl.
Drizzle with lime or lemon juice.
Sprinkle the spice mix over the cucumbers and toss until evenly coated.
Optional extras
Add chopped fresh herbs for extra flavor.
For a little crunch, you can sprinkle a few roasted chickpeas or seeds on top.
