🧾 Ingredients:
3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon instant yeast (or active dry yeast)
1 ½ cups (360ml) warm water
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Mix everything
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast.
Add warm water and mix with a spoon until a sticky dough forms (don’t overmix).
Let it rise
Cover the bowl with a towel or plastic wrap.
Let it sit at room temperature for 8–12 hours (overnight is perfect).
The dough will become bubbly and doubled in size.
Shape the dough
Lightly flour your surface and hands.
Gently shape the dough into a ball (no kneading needed).
Second rest
Place the dough on parchment paper and let it rest for 30–45 minutes.
Preheat oven & pot
Put a covered pot (like a Dutch oven) in the oven.
Preheat to 230°C (450°F) for about 20–30 minutes.
Bake
Carefully place the dough (with parchment) into the hot pot.
Cover and bake:
30 minutes covered
10–15 minutes uncovered (for a crispy crust)
Cool & enjoy
Let it cool before slicing (important for texture!).
💡 Tips:
Add seeds, olives, or herbs for extra flavor 🌿
If you don’t have a Dutch oven, use any oven-safe pot with a lid
The longer it rises, the better the flavor
