🍰 15-Minute Grandma’s Soft Cake
📝 Ingredients
2 eggs
100 g sugar (about ½ cup)
1 tsp vanilla sugar or extract
120 ml milk (½ cup)
80 ml oil (⅓ cup, any neutral oil)
180 g flour (about 1½ cups)
10 g baking powder (2 tsp)
Pinch of salt
Optional: lemon zest or orange zest for extra flavor

Mix eggs & sugar
In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla for 2–3 minutes until light and slightly fluffy.
Add liquids
Pour in milk and oil. Mix until smooth.
Add dry ingredients
Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix gently until no lumps remain.
Flavor it (optional)
Add lemon or orange zest for that “grandma secret” aroma.
Cook quickly (2 options):
🔥 Oven (best texture)
Preheat to 180°C
Pour into a greased pan
Bake 12–15 minutes until golden
⚡ Pan / stovetop (faster)
Pour batter into a lightly oiled pan
Cover and cook on very low heat for 10–12 minutes
Flip carefully and cook 3–5 more minutes

Dust with powdered sugar
