Air Fryer Crispy Potato Slices

🥔 Air Fryer Crispy Potato Slices
✅ Ingredients:
3–4 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or russet work great)
2–3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional: dried herbs (thyme, oregano, or rosemary)
Optional topping: grated cheese or fresh parsley
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Prep the potatoes
Wash and slice the potatoes into thin rounds (about 3–5 mm thick). Try to keep them even so they cook evenly.
Soak (optional but recommended)
Soak slices in cold water for 15–20 minutes to remove excess starch.
👉 This helps make them extra crispy!
Dry well
Drain and pat completely dry with a towel.
Season
Toss the slices in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and any herbs you like.
Air fry
Preheat air fryer to 180°C (360°F)
Arrange slices in a single layer (don’t overcrowd)
Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through
Extra crisp (optional)
For crispier edges, air fry another 2–3 minutes at 200°C (400°F)
Serve
Sprinkle with fresh parsley or cheese if desired. Serve hot!
🔥 Tips:
Don’t stack the slices—cook in batches if needed
Thinner slices = crispier chips, thicker = softer centers
Add chili flakes or cumin for a flavor twist 🌶️
