🥐 Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Pinwheels—perfect for snacks, parties, or quick meals!
🧾 Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
150–200 g ham (sliced or chopped)
1–1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional, but adds great flavor)
1 egg (for egg wash)
1 tbsp milk (optional, for egg wash)
Optional: dried herbs (oregano, thyme) or black pepper

- Prepare the pastry
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle. - Add filling
Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard (if using).
Evenly layer the ham over the pastry.
Sprinkle cheese generously on top.
Add herbs or pepper if you like. - Roll and slice
Starting from one long side, tightly roll the pastry into a log.
Slice into 1–2 cm thick pinwheels. - Egg wash
Beat the egg with a little milk.
Brush each pinwheel lightly with the egg wash. - Bake
Place on a lined baking tray.
Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
