Garlic Parmesan Beef Tortellini Bake

Garlic Parmesan Beef Tortellini Bake

Ingredients:
For the Bake:
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (20-ounce) package cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is soft, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Prepare the Tortellini:
If using fresh tortellini, cook according to package instructions until al dente. If using frozen tortellini, you can add them directly to the mixture without pre-cooking.
Make the Sauce:
In a medium bowl, combine the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined. If desired, you can add a pinch of garlic powder for extra flavor.
Combine Ingredients:
In the skillet with the cooked beef, add the cooked tortellini and the cream mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.
Transfer to Baking Dish:
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
