Colombian Coconut Limeade

Colombian Coconut Limeade (Limonada de Coco)

A creamy, tropical twist on classic limeade—icy, refreshing, and irresistibly smooth.

Ingredients:

½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (from 4–5 limes)

1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk

¼ cup sweetened condensed milk or granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

2 cups ice

½ cup cold water (optional, to thin if needed)

Lime slices & shredded coconut for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Blend it up
In a high-speed blender, add the lime juice, coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk or sugar, and ice. Blend until the mixture is creamy and frothy.
  2. Adjust texture
If the mixture feels too thick, pour in a bit of cold water and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
  3. Sweeten to your liking
Taste and adjust sweetness—add more sugar or condensed milk if you’d like it richer.
  4. Serve and enjoy
Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with lime slices and shredded coconut if desired. Serve immediately while icy and refreshing.

Fun Variations:

Lighter Version: Swap half the coconut milk for coconut water for a thinner, more refreshing sip.

Frozen Twist: Use frozen cubes of coconut milk instead of ice for a thicker, slushy-style texture.

Cocktail Style: Add a splash of rum or coconut rum for an adult-friendly treat.

Perfect for summer days, dinner parties, or beachside vibes at home—Limonada de Coco is creamy, tangy, and tropical all in one sip.
