๐ Honey Garlic Chicken with Mushrooms
๐ Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
2 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
250 g mushrooms, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp vinegar (apple cider or white)
Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish
๐จโ๐ณ Instructions:
Season the chicken
Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides.
Sear the chicken
Heat ุงูุฒูุช (oil) in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for about 5โ6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Cook the mushrooms
In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Sautรฉ mushrooms until browned and tender (about 5 minutes).
Add garlic
Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Make the sauce
In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, vinegar, water, and cornstarch.
Combine everything
Pour the sauce into the pan. Stir well and let it simmer until it thickens (2โ3 minutes).
Return chicken to pan
Add the chicken back, coat it in the sauce, and cook for another 2โ3 minutes.
Serve
Garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or bread.

Add a pinch of chili flakes if you like a little heat ๐ถ๏ธ
You can swap mushrooms with broccoli or bell peppers
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce + garlic for 30 minutes before cooking
