1.5–2 kg pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional, but adds depth)

Prep the ribs
Remove the membrane from the back if needed.
Cut ribs into sections to fit your slow cooker.
Make the mixture
In a bowl, mix together: barbecue sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, black pepper, and paprika.
Assemble
Place raw ribs in the slow cooker.
Pour the mixture evenly over the ribs, making sure they’re well coated.
Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours.

Transfer ribs to a baking tray.
Brush with extra sauce and broil in the oven for 3–5 minutes until slightly caramelized.
