π§π₯ Cheesy Baked Potato Casserole (Simple & Addictive)
π Ingredients
5β6 medium potatoes (peeled & thinly sliced)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1 cup heavy cream (or milk for lighter version)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 small onion (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp butter
Salt & pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).
Prepare the sauce
In a small pan, melt butter and sautΓ© garlic + onion for 2β3 minutes until soft.
Layer it up
Grease a baking dish
Add a layer of potatoes
Sprinkle salt, pepper, and some cheese
Add some of the onion mixture
Repeat layers until everything is used
Add cream
Pour cream evenly over the whole dish.
Bake covered
Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
Golden finish
Remove foil, add extra cheese on top, and bake another 15β20 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Add cooked ground beef or chicken to make it a full meal
A pinch of paprika or thyme boosts flavor
Let it rest 10 minutes before serving (it thickens nicely)
