🛒 Ingredients (5 total)
500 g ground beef
1 can (about 300 g) tomato soup
1 cup uncooked rice
1 cup water (or beef broth for more flavor)
1 small onion, finely chopped
(Optional but recommended: salt, pepper, garlic powder)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Layer the ingredients (raw):
In a deep casserole dish, add:
Uncooked rice
Chopped onion
Ground beef (spread it evenly on top)
Mix the sauce:
In a bowl, combine the tomato soup with 1 cup water (or broth). Stir well.
Pour over everything:
Evenly pour the soup mixture over the beef and rice. Don’t stir—this helps it cook in layers.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 1 hour
Then uncover and bake another 15–20 minutes until the rice is tender and the top is slightly browned.
🍽️ Tips
If rice isn’t fully cooked, add a splash of water and bake a bit longer.
You can sprinkle cheese on top during the last 10 minutes for extra richness.
A pinch of paprika or herbs makes it even better.
