4-Ingredient Melt-in-Your-Mouth Slow Cooker Roast
Ingredients
1 beef chuck roast (about 1.5–2 kg / 3–4 lb)
1 packet onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup beef broth
Instructions
Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the roast.
In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth until smooth.
Pour the mixture over the roast.
Cover and cook on low for 8–9 hours (or high for 4–5 hours) until the meat is tender and easily falls apart.
Slice or shred and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.
Optional Tip
For extra flavor, add carrots and potatoes during the last 4 hours of cooking.
