Ingredients
4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
2 large onions, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons butter, melted

Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Grease a baking dish lightly with a little butter.
Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
Add a layer of sliced onions over the potatoes.
Repeat with the remaining potatoes and onions.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the top.
Season with salt and black pepper if using.
Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Tip
For extra flavor, you can add a little garlic powder or sprinkle shredded cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking.
