Creamy Crunchy Garden Salad
A simple, delicious salad that people often wish they’d made more of!
Ingredients
1 small head cabbage, finely chopped
1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
1 cucumber, diced
2 tomatoes, diced
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup sunflower seeds (optional)
Creamy Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine cabbage, romaine, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, carrots, cheese, bacon, and sunflower seeds.
In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Pour dressing over the salad and toss well to coat evenly.
Chill for 20–30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.
Tip
If making ahead, keep the dressing separate until ready to serve so the salad stays crisp.
