Garlic Steak & Potato Foil Packets
Ingredients
500 g steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
500 g baby potatoes, halved (or regular potatoes diced small)
4 tablespoons butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Optional: shredded cheese or a little lemon juice for serving
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) or heat your grill to medium-high.
In a bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, half the garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
In another bowl, season the steak cubes with the remaining garlic, a little salt, pepper, and melted butter.
Cut 4 large sheets of aluminum foil.
Divide the potatoes evenly onto each foil sheet, then top with the steak cubes.
Drizzle any remaining butter-garlic mixture over the top.
Seal the foil packets tightly.
Bake for 25–30 minutes (or grill for about 15–20 minutes) until potatoes are tender and steak is cooked.
Carefully open the packets, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
