🧾 Ingredients
2 cups broccoli florets
2 cups cauliflower florets
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup grated mozzarella (optional, for extra stretch)
1 cup heavy cream (or milk for lighter version)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika (optional)
½ cup breadcrumbs (for topping)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cook the vegetables
Boil or steam broccoli and cauliflower for 4–5 minutes until slightly tender.
Drain well and set aside.
Make the creamy sauce
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Stir in flour and cook 1 minute (this removes raw taste).
Slowly whisk in cream/milk until smooth.
Add salt, pepper, and paprika.

Combine
Add broccoli and cauliflower into the sauce and mix gently.
Assemble casserole
Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
Sprinkle remaining cheddar + mozzarella on top.

Bake
Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
