Slow Cooker Creamy Rice Pudding

🥣 Slow Cooker Creamy Rice Pudding
🛒 Ingredients
1 cup uncooked white rice (short or medium grain works best)
4 cups milk (whole milk for creaminess)
1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional but recommended)
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Lightly grease your slow cooker with butter or cooking spray.
Add the uncooked rice evenly to the bottom.
In a bowl, mix together milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
Pour this mixture over the rice.
Add butter on top (just drop in small pieces).
Cover and cook:
Low: 2.5–3 hours
High: 1.5–2 hours
Stir once or twice during cooking if possible to prevent sticking.
When the rice is tender and creamy, it’s ready!
🍯 Optional Toppings
Raisins or dried fruit
Honey or caramel drizzle
Chopped nuts
Fresh fruit
💡 Tips
If it thickens too much, stir in a little extra milk before serving.
For extra richness, replace 1 cup of milk with cream.
Warm, creamy, and lightly sweet—perfect for a winter comfort treat.
