🥚 Air Fryer Poached Eggs
Ingredients:
2 eggs
2 small ramekins (or oven-safe bowls)
2–4 tbsp water (1–2 tbsp per ramekin)
A little oil or butter (for greasing)
Instructions:
Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for about 2–3 minutes.
Grease the ramekins lightly with oil or butter to prevent sticking.
Add water (about 1–2 tbsp) into each ramekin.
Crack one egg into each ramekin gently (don’t break the yolk).
Place the ramekins carefully into the air fryer basket.
Cook for 5–7 minutes depending on how runny you like the yolk:
5 min: very runny
6 min: medium
7 min: firmer yolk
Carefully remove (they’ll be hot!), season with salt and pepper.
Tips:
Cover ramekins loosely with foil if the tops cook too fast.
Add a splash of vinegar to the water for a more traditional poached texture.
Serve on toast, avocado, or salad.
