🛒 Ingredients
1.5–2 kg beef chuck roast
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 packet Italian dressing mix
1 cup (240 ml) water
4–6 potatoes, peeled and halved
3–4 carrots, cut into chunks
1 onion, sliced (optional)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
Place the roast in a large baking dish or Dutch oven.
Arrange potatoes, carrots, and onion around the meat.
In a bowl, mix the onion soup mix, gravy mix, and Italian dressing mix with the water.
Pour the mixture evenly over everything.
Cover tightly with foil or a lid.
Bake for 3–4 hours (no peeking!) until the meat is very tender.
🍽️ Serving
Slice or shred the beef and serve with the vegetables.
Spoon the rich gravy over everything.
