Soft Chocolate Chip Tray Cookies

🍪 Soft Chocolate Chip Tray Cookies
Ingredients
2 ÂĽ cups (280g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Âľ cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup (200g) brown sugar
½ cup (100g) white sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½–2 cups (250–300g) chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Line a baking tray (like in your photo) with foil or parchment.
Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
Mix wet ingredients
In another bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla, mix until smooth.
Combine
Gradually add dry ingredients into wet mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Shape cookies
Scoop small balls of dough and place them close together on the tray (they should slightly touch—this gives that packed look).
Bake for 12–15 minutes
Edges should be golden, centers soft.
Cool slightly
Let them rest in the tray so they stay soft and slightly connected.
🔥 Tips
For extra softness: slightly underbake (take them out when centers still look a bit pale).
For that exact look: don’t space them too far apart—they should bake into each other.
Add a pinch of sea salt on top after baking for a bakery-style finish.
