Slow Cooker Beef & Tomato Supper
A cozy, hearty dump-and-go dinner with tender beef in a rich tomato sauce.
Ingredients
700 g (1Β½ lb) beef stew chunks
1 can (400 g / 14 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet onion soup mix
Optional:
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Place the beef chunks into the slow cooker.
Pour the canned crushed tomatoes over the beef.
Add sliced onion, garlic, and onion soup mix.
Stir lightly to coat everything evenly.
Cover and cook:
Low: 7–8 hours
High: 4–5 hours
The beef should be fork-tender when done.
