Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪
These look like classic bakery-style chocolate chip cookies — soft in the center with golden edges!
Ingredients
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Gradually stir in the dry ingredients.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop dough into balls and place on the tray, leaving space between them.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden but centers still look soft.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Optional Tips
Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
Add chopped walnuts or pecans for extra crunch.
Sprinkle a tiny bit of sea salt on top after baking for bakery-style flavor.
