Slow Cooker Sausage & Onion Supper
This easy sausage recipe turns simple ingredients into a rich, comforting meal with almost no effort.
Ingredients
6 sausages (beef, chicken, or smoked sausage)
4 medium potatoes, diced
1 large onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Optional: shredded cheese or chopped parsley for topping
Instructions
Lightly brown the sausages in a skillet for extra flavor (optional but recommended).
Add potatoes, onions, peppers, and garlic to the slow cooker.
Place sausages on top.
In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, broth, paprika, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Pour mixture over everything.
Cover and cook:
LOW for 6–7 hours
HIGH for 3–4 hours
Sprinkle with cheese during the last 10 minutes if desired.
