Turmeric Ginger Honey Drink
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 teaspoon ground turmeric (or 1-inch fresh turmeric, grated)
1-inch fresh ginger, sliced or grated
1 small cinnamon stick (or ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon)
Juice of ½ lemon
1–2 teaspoons raw honey
Optional: a pinch of black pepper (helps absorb turmeric better)
Instructions
Add water, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon to a small pot.
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes.
Strain into a mug if using fresh ginger or turmeric.
Let it cool slightly for 1–2 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice and raw honey.
Add black pepper if desired, then enjoy warm.
Tips
Drink in the morning or before bed.
Serve iced in warm weather.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat gently.
