Cheesy Family-Favorite Chicken Bake
This sounds like one of those creamy, cheesy casseroles everyone goes back for seconds on — here’s a delicious version you can make easily at home.
Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
3 cups cooked pasta or rice
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
½ cup milk
Optional: cooked bacon bits or broccoli
Topping
1 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a large bowl, mix soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Stir in shredded chicken, cooked pasta/rice, and both cheeses.
Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
