Ingredients
2 apples, peeled and diced or thinly sliced
2 eggs
1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil or melted butter
3/4 cup (150 g) sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of salt
Optional Topping
Powdered sugar
Cinnamon sugar
Thin apple slices for the top
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease a round or loaf cake pan.
In a bowl, whisk together:
eggs
sugar
milk
oil
vanilla
Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
Mix until smooth.
Fold in the apples gently.
Pour batter into the pan.
Add extra apple slices on top if desired.
Bake for 35–45 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
